Social Security Benefits are Set to Increase This Week     Every year the Social Security Administration adjusts benefits to account for inflation. This raise in payment amounts, known as the Cost of Living Adjustment or COLA, applies to the 64 million Americans currently collecting Social Security payments. For 2020, the COLA is 1.6%. Watch Out for Scam Social Security Robo Calls     It is no secret that robo calls are out of control, with some people receiving dozens a day. These automated calls want to sell you things you don't need, or worse, steal information from you.
